The Littleton Youth Lacrosse 2025 Fundraiser "Goal -A-Thon" will be held on Saturday May 3rd between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. 

Over the past several years, LYLC has been able to continue to provide increased support to our players and coaches. We use the opportunity for fundraising to reduce costs, provide scholarships for families in need, offer learn-to-play clinics for children new to the sport, and build awareness for the sport. With some of the funds raised last year, we purchased new bounce-backs, sticks, goalie pads, provided scholarships, and more. 

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our 2025 fundraiser, the LYLC "Goal-A-Thon" This family friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd.

• Boys & Girls K/1/2 - 11am-12pm
• Boys & Girls 5/6 - 11am-12pm
• Boys & Girls 3/4 - 12pm-1pm
• Boys & Girls 7/8 - 12pm-1pm

Our goal is to surpass the fundraising total from last year of just over $7,000.  

Details of how the fundraiser will work is listed below.

How will the Goal-A-Thon work on May 3rd @ Alumni Field

1. Each team will be provided with a specific time slot on Saturday, May 3rd (check your email and this webpage for more details)
2. Each player has the chance to score goals, try for "fastest ball" and other coach-led activities. Players will have 10 chances to score a goal
3. LYLC will keep track of the goals and other activities
4. LYLC will enter the amount of goals in the 99Pledges system – we're hoping for 10 of 10 for each player! 
5. 99Pledges will complete the transaction and your sponsors will receive notification of the results

How will LYLC collect donations for Goal-A-Thon? Below is a quick summary of how donations can be made:   

• Every registered player will be asked to reach out to neighbors, family, and friends to sponsor them in the Goal-A-Thon. 
• LYLC will use an external site, 99Pledges, to help organize the fundraiser.  
• Every registered player will receive a unique donation link and page to share with family and friends - this will be sent directly from the fundraising site, 99 Pledges
• The link will be sent to the primary email address provided to LYLC upon registration. 
  • HINT: post the link to social media to expand your possible network of donors    

Donations can be made in two different ways within 99Pledges:

• Option #1:  Provide a flat donation regardless of the # of goals – simple and straightforward.
• Option #2:  Provide a donation based upon the number of goals the player gets during the Goal-A-Thon

99Pledges and LYLC will take care of the administrative side of Goal-A-Thon, sponsors will be charged according to their instructions.
